The 45 bag pallet most closely equals a cord of wood, but it's hard to compare ThermaWood to regular firewood since firewood varies so much. It's not really an "apples to apples" comparison. Firewood can vary dramatically from load to load, but TherrmaWood is consistent since it's a manufactured product. You know what you're getting every time - no surprises. And since there's virtually zero moisture content, it burns slower and longer, lasting you much longer than firewood, so comparing it to firewood doesn't really work. Try it out and see for yourself!
